[ID: Fashion Corner "Mommy's Having Twins"] Pregnant Barbie type doll?
« on: Tuesday 28 September 2010, 01:53 am »
I have a doll from the mid nineties that is barbie sized and her stomach comes off and shes pregnant with twins. She's marked Lucky ind. co. on her back and I think she may have been called a "fashion corners" doll? Does this sound familiar to anyone or anyone have any info or pictures?

I see one thing on ebay that looks similar.  Baby New Born appears to be the name.

I've checked ebay and I did notice the one you've mentioned but it isn't the same thing. this doll had very defined dimples and the main thing different about her than all the other pregnant dolls ive seen is that she had twins in her belly not just one baby. she came wearing a blue dress with flowers on it.

I think you mean "Family Corners", but they were made by Mattel.

No it wasn't family corners. I remeber those. they came with the cardboard houses and were smaller than barbies. this doll was barbie sized.

Was there a panel behind the removable stomach that was spring loaded?

no there were no springs. her stomach was flat on one side and "pregnant on the other side so it could be reversed. and there were two little babies that fit inside.

I also had a Barbie sized pregnant doll, I also can't remember the name of her, I still have the dress that she wore, pictured below. Does the dress look familiar??

I have just done some further searching and I think mine possibly belonged to the Judith Mommy To Be Doll.
There are a few currently listed on ebay
