My Magic Genies - Hasbro

OooOoo! A new page! http://ghostofthedoll.co.uk/Toys_MyMagicGenies.htm

I've actually been saving pictures on these for awhile (my sister was really into them and has several).

First off, the 2nd series was never produced. I'm *almost* positive that the large playset was never produced. Also, all of the dolls and pets had a cardboard "carpet" on the back of their card that could be cut out.

There used to be a store with the Flying Carpet playset on eBay. It was there a long time but the picture was VERY small.

Your unknown doll is Pia. The photo on the "official" site must have been just the one they thought would be Pia. I don't know why they used the other prototype, though?

Also, the accessories in the sets could have different color variations/combinations. (Here the candelabra and cushion are blue instead of yellow. I assume that the goblets with that set were blue).

And here are some of the pictures you are missing:

Excellent, thanks Zuse. There was very little to go on to compile this section, but I knew once it was up someone would come up with some more images and info!  ;D

On ebay earlier this year I saw the carpet MIB and it had a picture of an exclusive pet on the box- I wish I had saved the pic from the auction to support this, but I hadn't gotten into the zuse way of thinking yet (now I save everything!).

Anyway, I just found the pet, and I can provide a pic later.  It is a pegasus, and very clearly belongs to the series.

Zap, I will forgive this one time. Probably. I guess I wasn't searching for the Genies back then...

Zap, what happened to the picture of that pegasus one you promised to share?

I think the unproduced pet that is guessed to be a horse is actually a camel. It hase a very camel-ish face and it matches the theme.

Here's my little pegasus with Pia.

He's quite a bit smaller than the other animals in the line.
