keychains of popular toys
« on: Monday 31 January 2011, 01:46 pm »
I bought some barbie keychains off ebay recently and I opened them and they had a little leaflet in the package which I scanned in thinking some people might be interested:

The leaflet itself is from 1999 but most of the toys they immortalised as keychains are toy classics that have been around a while.

Hey I totally remember having that little leaflet too!
I had:
a Black magic 8Ball
a "Date" ball. It was pink.
a Ouiji Game (totally dumb to use that small!)
a Scrabble Game

Thanks for sharing! Brought back some memories. I remember buying these at Spencer gifts.

Oh, wow, I used to be crazy about these things as a kid! I even blogged about them and everything!

Granted I wasn't able to afford collecting these full-time, but I fondly remembered looking at those little leaflets with such childlike longing then.

I think the company that makes them is still around, only now they've branched out to carabiners and stuff in addition to keychains. I'm currently setting aside some funds for the cute little Connect Four, Candyland and Clue keychains, I'd always been a sucker for miniatures.

(Howdy, first post.)
