I just remembered this but with the unknown one I had her, but the body was pink and the dress was yellow sadly I do not have any photos nor do I have her any more.

Ok, HUGE update, long time coming :)

First, pics of the minis and their playsets!!!

The carousel:

And now, some prototypes I found on ebay!  I contacted the seller and she said they were from a family friend's house she was cleaning out, and that family friend did indeed work for a toy company in the 80s/90s!  They are fantastic!

I think the earliest I have from the development stage (I think it is a hair grow prototype):

More advanced hair grow prototypes (I've never seen a manufactured hair grow, so these might never have made it beyond prototypes, though the ones on the backcard would be more advanced versions if they are still out there):

Here are some of the regular issue ones (though in different colors) with hair:

And a whole bunch of regular issues, unpainted and unglued together, w/o hair:

That is insane. I still can't believe you found that lot. What was the odds that the one person in the world that would completely appreciate them as being prototypes. It boggles the mind.

And now to hurt your head: this means that person might have worked on the puppies too...

Thank you SO much Jana for all your images. It must have taken ages! I've added in your images and re-named the Unknown page to Other to accommodate the prototype images as well.

It's fascinating to see all the Growing Hair prototypes. You can see how the mechanism would have worked, and it's probably the closest we're going to get to seeing the Growing Hair ponies as the appear to be either ultra rare, or unproduced.

Wow... those prototypes are pretty cool! :)

I have two of the twins... you only have one on your page, but I have both of them!

If you want better pics or individual pics, let me know.

Hello. I have just located a Special Edition Set of Little Little Beauties and listed them at auction. I have posted a link in the For Sale area, is it acceptable to post the link here as well? Maybe the images could be helpful to others. Thanks for any help.
