[ID: Sylvanian Families] Sylvanian Families Badger Mother
« on: Friday 02 September 2011, 10:52 pm »
I have a question that I'm sure you guys can help me with!

I picked up this little figure today because I was sure I'd seen it before. It turns out that it's a Sylvanian Families Badger Mother. -YEY!-

HOWEVER - in almost all of the pictures that I've seen of the badger, she's been wearing this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sylvanian-Families-BADGER-Family-4046-Brand-new-/300471234967?pt=UK_Doll_Bears_Dolls_EH&hash=item45f57b3197

The only one that I found who is wearing the same thing as the one that I got is here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/sylvanian-family-badger-family-x-6-cot-/330608158213?pt=UK_Doll_Bears_Dolls_EH&hash=item4cf9c82605 (except mine has the apron as well)

All of the members are wearing different clothes. Is this a country difference or what? :) Thanks.

Some of the clothes were changed and updated as these toys have been around for a long time, they were also changed in the states with the name change.  Check out this site for more information:

Thanks a ton for the link! I had no idea they'd been around that long. :)

Here's the one that I have: http://www.sylvanian-families.net/Families/030106/CCunderwoods.html

So she was the part of the US Calico Critters collection and she was made between 93 and 96. :D
