Cleaning a Keyper
« on: Sunday 23 October 2011, 05:20 am »
I found a baby Keyper, and I'm pretty sure it was stored improperly. I'm not sure if there is mold inside it. Any tips on cleaning it?

you could try warm water with a little oxyclean added to it, but i would not try a diluted bleach bath.

I looked inside it. It doesn't look or smell too bad. I will try the oxyclean though.

I will say DO NOT use anything that has acetone in it!  AKA nail polish remover it reacts badly to most plastics.  In some cases plastic can me permanently marred/ melted.

I ended up cleaning it with some mild dish soap.

I worked ok. It needs a little conditioner on the hair.
