Magic Rocks....or jewels a 90s toy what was the name?

I'm hoping this is in the correct area of the forum. I'm currently trying to find out what the name for this toy was. Its kind of hard to explain. I'm not sure if it was called Magic jewels or rocks. It came out in the early 90s. It was a box of dirty looking rocks that when you placed them under hot water the dirt came off and revealed plastic different shaped jewels. They came in all different colors. So pretty much the fun was to wash off the brown stuff on them and see what color and shape the plastic jewels would be in. I tried googling magic rocks with no success. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? What they may have been called? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks
