Desperately seeking Stylin' Hair 'Kid CPK doll
« on: Wednesday 27 April 2011, 12:18 am »

This is a doll I've been looking for for a long time,
the blonde Stylin' Hair 'Kid Cabbage Patch Kid doll by Mattel in 1995ish.
I'd like her in good to mint condition with her complete outfit and preferably uncut hair.
Accessories would be awesome but not absolutely necessary.

Thanks a lot!

I don't have the doll but your picture made me realize that I have some accessories. I've had these purple barrette looking things in with my bag of random combs for a while and I didn't know what they went to. They look just like the ones in her hair only purple.

Oh that is interesting.  If you're talking about the crimpers (yellow in this photo) I've only seen them in pink.  They did come with barrettes; but from the four dolls I've seen NIB the colors of those don't change either.

Thanks a lot for letting me know, though!  :)

Ya like how companies steal each other's molds all the time? XD

No guarantees but I have been checking any CPKs that I see when I'm out. Do you still want her if I would happen to find her without her outfit? And does it say Stylin' Hair 'Kid on her anywhere?

Oh my gosh that's so thoughtful of you!  Thank you so much.  ^^

I would actually prefer her with her outfit (dress, socks, shoes) - sorry!  XD
I have no idea if it would say it on her tag or not since I have not had one in years, sorry again.

Anything I can keep my eyeballs on for you?  Let me know!

Okay, I took a picture on my cell phone of the CPK image so that I can compare if I do happen to find her :)

My one super hard to find item is the Busy Bear of Hippity Hollow "alarm clock" playset. I have all the other ones which I donated pics for the page: http://www.ghostofthedoll.co.uk/Toys_BusyBears.htm

There's a pic of the alarm clock here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirimae/4342532742/
I also need the tiny yellow rocking horse in that picture... needle in a haystack basically!

Definitely not something easy to find. There are a couple different MOC Busy Bear houses on eBay that have been one there for months on end at over $60 each. I think I paid around $11 for each of mine? They hardly ever come up though.

That's a really good idea, I will do the same thing on my phone right now for you!

Those are really cute playsets, I really like their style.  I hope I find one for you in my thrift store hunts!
