I know that there's a guide for the Lil' Secrets version of these dolls... but what about the full sized ones? They apparently also had refill packs and animal friends/accessories. I think Sally came out around 1993 and the later doll was in 1994.

How timely!  I just got Penni and was researching her!

On her loose pic, has her hair become all rainbow, or is she brunette?  Mine is straight up blonde with a few rainbow highlights, so something looks strange to me and I'm wondering if there are multiple versions.

I believe the loose one above is a brunette one. The one on the box and in the commercials is blonde.

I bought Penni Secrets MIB from Evans Toy Store today for $22. Resisting the urge to break her out of her inner packaging. She's been in there 17 years and still smells like new doll. My box has one more pet on back...Puppy Secrets, who is a sticker dispenser and coin bank and supposed to be made available in 1994 in summer. Its a dalmatian twice the size of Snookie Snail in the picture, with its paw raised and a red bowtie.

Your are soooo lucky! What a fantastic find and for that price too. I am seriously jealous! Congratulations  Grin

I've already forgotten all of the other vintage dolls I passed up today in choosing her. I was tempted by the color your own dollhouse I had as a kid that I spotted on a high shelf. Its a good thing this store is 45 miles away from me or I'd go broke.

If you have similar finds at that store you could recoup any money you spent and then some by re-selling on ebay or on forums or whatever. Seriously.
