My (mostly childhood) collections!
« on: Tuesday 31 August 2010, 06:04 pm »
Most of the toys I have are saved from my childhood - I only actively collect My Little Pony and sometimes In My Pockets. I wish the photos could have been better, but I had to contend with my parents' old crappy digital camera and no good place to set up my stuff. Anyway, here they are!

My Pretty Mermaid and Cupcake Doll:

Fairywinkles:

Kitty Surprise (these were the 'sold separately' kittens... guess my mom didn't want to buy me the whole family! And yes, the purple one had a mane that I cut off):

Littlest Pet Shop:

Puppy/Kitty/Pony In My Pockets with playsets (I customized my IMPs a lot, so if you're thinking they look weird, that's why!):

In My Pockets without playsets:

My Little Pony and the rest of the In My Pockets (some childhood, some from Ebay) - These are the only toys I have with me at my apartment:

And lastly, some fakies:

KrystalTips, that's so cool that you got them just by eating cereal! I got mine in packs of five in the toy store, and I had to save my allowance for them!

I love your Cupcakes doll and your My Pretty Mermaid!

And I hate to ask this... but do you know that yellow fakie pony is?  I used to have a pink one just like it - it had yellow lights that lit up.  If you don't know, I'll happily move the question along to the Toy ID Help board.  :)

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! The yellow one is a Buddy L pony, Buddy L being the company that made them. I don't know what the actual name of the toy was, and I'm not sure if anyone knows right now - I've never seen an actual name for them mentioned on MLP or fakie forums. I would love to know, though! Yes, mine used to light up as well, and it also talked! I think most of them made galloping noises, from what I've read, though. Hope this helps! :)

Yes, that helps a heck of a lot!!  I found this auction (no photos) on a goodwill auction website: "Up for auction we have a Talk To Me Pony Tales pony made by Buddy L that is new and in the original sealed package."

How cool is that??  Somebody bought it for $1.99 I believe.  What I'd give haha!

Thank you!

Oh, that's so cool! I'm happy to finally know what they're called! Do you have a link to the auction page? If only they had a picture, though... I really want to see a MOC/MIB Buddy L pony!

You know.. I can't find it.  I even put the sentence in quotes and parts of the sentence in quotes, but Google can't seem to find it.  ._.;;;

I'll start a thread so you can have yours back though.  :D  (Maybe by then I'll find the site, too).

Sorry I totally goofed!!

He is My Little Pony, part of the Pony Friends line.  His name is Creamsicle.  Cute, huh? :)

LOVE, especially your ponies, LPS, and pocket pets! Looking at them, I see some pocket pets I has as a child. I wonder if I still do.
I'm a new member here who loves Jesus and collects My Little Pony!
