There were four different sets of fashions released in 1986 with new lines being introduced to these in 1987 along with two new sets. In 1988 there would have been more fashions released but it never happened as the Jem line ceased production.

In 1988 Hasbro had plans for a large series of new fashion wear, but it was never released (other than in prototype) due to the Jem line ceasing production.
