2nd Series Dolls [1989]

There were six dolls produced in 1989 and were cake themed. Only Cherry and Chocolottie returned from 1988 with four new dolls being introduced. Each doll wore a new dress with a cake shaped hat and painted on shoes. The hats was also a child-sized bracelet.

Each doll came with 4 accessories:

• Scratch 'n Sniff Recipe Card
• Muffin Comb
• 6 Scented Muffins (joined together)
• Cupcake Pan

Cherry Merry Muffin

"Cherry scented! For Cherry Merry Muffin life's a delight! With her new, sweet-smelling friends she's busy making things cheery and bright everywhere she goes! She has a new, silky crimped hairstyle for little girls to brush and comb, a pretty new party dress, and dimples! Her cupcake hat doubles as a fun play piece or transforms to a child-size bracelet. Doll includes dress, apron, cupcake hat/bracelet, cupcake comb, scented “cupcakes,” cupcake tin, and 2 scratch ‘n sniff recipe cards."

Cherry now had a toothy smile.

This version of CMM also came with the gift set version of the Pastry Cafe playset.

She was also sold with the gift set version of the Wedding Cake 'N Party playset, wearing the Merry Wedding fashion set (with added iridescent trim by the looks of it).
