Mum and I visited Iford Manor a couple of weekends back, whilst I was on quick visit to celebrate my step-pater’s 80th birthday.
I forgot my camera so I borrowed my mum’s. Unfortunately, it has a mind of its own when it comes to focusing and not too keen bright light either. Or the dark. Afterwards, I discovered it was set to save the smallest image size, so no zooming in to edit. That’s teach me to leave my camera at home!
Iford Manor, situated between Bath and Bradford-On-Avon, has some wonderful grounds with an Italian-style garden. The manor was home to architect and designer Harold Ainsworth Peto from 1899-1933, who created the gardens.
