Thank Wally, It’s Anti-Static Mrs Mills!

Check out my TOY SALES on eBay!

I’ve had quite a dry run of late where charity shops are concerned, so was determined to buy something a few weekends back no matter what! I came up trumps with five LP’s and an (empty) WHSmiths anti static turntable mat sleeve.

Mrs Mills “Look Mum – No Hands!” [1967]

“Fortunately for all who enjoy cheerful and extremely listenable piano-playing. Mrs. Mills has a pair of hands well able to supply that commodity! One glance at the jolly photograph on the other side of this cover tells us that the enclosed LP will be happy-go-lucky and entertaining – just like Mrs. Mills herself! – and the selection of tunes are favourites which all the family will enjoy . . . ‘Swinging’ Grandparents can recapture the days of their youth with tunes like YES SIR, THAT’S MY BABY and OH, JOHNNY! OH, JOHNNY! OH!; ‘With-It‘ parents will feel nostalgic when they hear I’M IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE and UNFORGETTABLE; and ‘Switched-on’ (or whatever the current vernacular Is!) teensters will want to dance to these versions of chart-successes WINCHESTER CATHEDRAL and GREEN GREEN GRASS OF HOME . . . So, Mum, organize a jolly family get-together or party, spin this record on the turntable, and watch everyone join in the fun!”

WHSmiths “Anit Static Turntable Mat”

I bought this purely because of the cover graphics as the mat itself was nowhere to be seen!
