Clay emailed me this doll image and description:
"I've been searching for months now for the maker and model of doll my friend has had since she was a baby. Now the doll is in tatters, and no one ever knew her origin. The only things we know for certain is that the doll was purchased at a KMart in August of 1988, and this particular doll also came in brunette, redhead, and African American versions. I have done what researching I can, and I'm almost certain that the doll was made by Amtoy as this doll and Amtoy's dolls of the 80's all shared the same characteristics, the most obvious of them being the screen-printed face that's nearly identical across the board. However, I can still not pin down which exact doll this is, and I would appreciate any kind of info you could help me with."
Cheers, Clay
