Post by: pixienovah on Saturday 30 March 2013, 02:02 am
title says it all pretty much.

a family friend asked me if I knew any of these dolls, I don't, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them. Some have the words "Storybook Dolls" on their back.

It's possible some are Nancy Ann dolls.  What are the exact words on their backs?  It can help narrow down if they are real ones or fakes.

Those look pretty old, but they did make cheap dolls in that style for quite some time.

What material is the one on the far right made of?

Oh, I meant is the doll on the far right plastic or porcelain because that looks like it is a Storybook doll.

From the marking given, the ones that are are the more modern plastic Nancy Ann Storybook dolls.  There isn't a good site out there to ID the plastic ones.

This is a good one for the really old porcelain ones though:
