Oh wow!
Another vintage thing I noticed in one pics was a Nintendo!
-
LOL I noticed that too after I posted. I was so good on that thing. It busted when my baby sister stuffed pennies in it
-
I LOVE the look on your face in the one with the Baby Bubbles doll! The pure, unbridled joy of getting stuff for Christmas :D
Thanks for sharing these!
-
No problem, I love old pictures :) Baby Bubbles was actually for my birthday, I just had the unfortunance of being born less than 2 weeks before Christmas so I always get birthday presents wrapped in Christmas paper LOL
-
I loved my Nintendo so much my husband bought me one 2 years ago for christmas, lol.
-
Alphie! :)

The bottom picture with the Sesame Street playset is the Playskool Sesame Street Store. There are a few currently on ebay at the moment.

Yeah I found it awhile ago, but when I did it didn't look very exciting so I don't want it anymore :p
-
I had that play school kitchen I played with it with my sisters for hours thanks for the photos.
-
I found Alphie II at a garage sale today! So excited! It's kinda sad how giddy I am over it :p
-
Oh Lucky! Awesome find Candice! And I love your pics.
-
Aw, such a cutie patootie you were. I had the Sesame Playset too. I didn't find it very exciting either lol. Also had that kitchen. I get just as giddy over Alphie so don't feel bad lol. I love that thing.
-
That's Awesome pictures! You reminded me my childhood toys. My favorite toy was my cute house blocks. Thanks for this post.
-
I had that kitchen set.
My brother had the Sesame Street set you're talking about. Still has it.

What is Alfie II?
-
Alphie is an educational robot toy first issued by Playskool in 1978. He was re-released as Alphie II with updated features I think in the mid-80s. And then updated again a couple years ago. He teaches colors, numbers, counting, etc. I remember it being very easy, so I think it was probably for kids even younger than I was when I got it.
The evolution of Alphie:

And looking through Google images there appear to be other variations. Found something called "on the go" Alphie and Deci-bot.
