The other dollhouse thread got me thinking about this castle I had when I was little. I'm pretty sure got it for my birthday in 1999. It was a non-Mattel product for Barbie-sized dolls.
The castle was three stories high, and it was assembled from plastic poles that fit into thin plastic boards. I'm pretty sure it was mostly pink plastic, but it could have been lavender or aqua too, my memory is fuzzy. It came with lots of cheap furniture that I had to assemble from those punch-out plastic sheets that model parts come in. There were a LOT of pieces, and very little things too like silverware and plates and candelabras, which were all pink. I don't remember too much of the furniture specifically, unfortunately, just the little accessories because I've found them scattered among my Barbie stuff. Sadly my mom gave the castle away and probably most of the larger furniture with it. I know that there was a dining set, chairs and table, and I think a throne. I know there were a lot more but I can't think of what they looked like.
I remember it was very tall, well over three feet. It was also very unstable and would fall over a lot, causing lots of frustration, but I still loved it. I don't remember what the top part looked like, just that there were generic castle towers with flags, but nothing specific.
Any help appreciated!
