[ID: Kiddyland] Does anyone remember this doll playset??
« on: Thursday 11 August 2011, 01:02 am »
I used to have a playground playset made up of diffrent dolls and playground equipment. I have no idea what the exact time period they were from but I had them in the early 90's. Each doll was about 2 inches tall and was rather chubby. They were hard plastic with movable arms and legs and with barbie like hair. Each doll had a diffrent hair color, I remember one girl had pink and a boy had orange. There were also lots of diffrent colored plastic combs (like ones from MLP). They wore t-shirts that were hard plastic that made up their body. Each doll had an emblem on their shirt like a rainbow or flower. The playground equipment matched the sizes of the dolls and there was a windup cradle, a seesaw, a wagon, a slide with a roof and tunnel underneath, and a merry-go-round I think. There was also a plastic playmat but I don't know if it was original to the set.
Any ideas are most appreciated! -Thanks

I know what you're talking about because someone else ID'd it a while ago and I found it in the archives here. I'm leaving for work soon but I'll try to have a looksy tonight. :)

edit: okay nevermind, I was too determined to do it now:

Mimi and the goo goos dolls did do a playground set but the dolls do not have brushable hair or moveable limbs.

Are you talking about the Playground Kids made by Ertl around 1989-1990?.

Here's an image of them that I hope will help you out.
