Two Small Plastic Horses (Bryer? Heartland? Grand Champions?)
« on: Tuesday 29 May 2012, 06:52 am »
I have pictures of both horses, but I do not have access to either at the moment. I know the clydesdale looking one had writing on the underside that was hard to make out. The top says "MADE IN HONG KONG" The bottom looks like "DHD or DHO" It is maybe 1.5 inches. It's slightly smaller than the other horse. I actually think the clydesdale may be a bit older because I think it may have been my mother's as a child and passed down to me as opposed to a yard sale toy.

I never know how old things actually were because most of my childhood toys were secondhand from yard sales (so they could have been fairly new secondhand or very old secondhand). All help is appreciated.

Well, I don't know about the first two being heartland or breyer, they might be. But I can tell you right now that none of them are Grand Champion. GC Horses have horse shoes near their back legs.

The last one looks like a fakie version of My Beautiful Horses. It looks a lot like them, but something's off. I had loads of MBH growing up, and they're not....like that. I can't explain it.

The clydesdale probably came with a set of farm animals. It looks like the sort to be included in a baggie set or one of those clear plastic tubes with a haystack, trees and fences

Hey, I just realised what's off about the last horse. The mane and tail are plastic. MBH horses have real hair manes and tails.
