[1 of 2 ID-ed] Doll and purse
« on: Friday 26 November 2010, 06:51 pm »
Anyone have a clue? The white haired doll has always been a favorite and I just dug out the little purse.

ID: Living Baby Tender Love

Thanks

Looks to me like late seventies or early eighties.  Good luck.

You've got to give us some more clues. I know I personally am pretty weak at baby doll ID. That's a good picture of it but there are just tooooo many out there (unless someone reading just happens to have owned that exact same doll). But for the ones on here that research we need a bit more to go on.

Are you the original owner? What year did you receive it? Do you remember what outfit it came in originally or what accessories it had? Does it have any special actions or is it just for dressing up? Why did you put the purse in the same post? Did it come with the doll? If they aren't related you really need to make a separate post for the purse. Threads get confusing discussing more than one item.

I'm going to say it's certainly Mattel.

Yeah, sometimes you have to look really deep in the hairline. Anyway, I'm glad you had good luck IDing her! ;D

I was a bit worried that my last message came off as kind of having a mean tone! I guess I was just frustrated because I am CRAP at IDing baby dolls and it really IS hard to find them based on appearance alone! :-[

Still no idea about the purse but we'll get it figured out. ;)

Perhaps the purse came with a doll. So far I've seen that company associated with some dolls. Maybe it's also FHP and the Fung Seng Industrial Company?

Here's the box of another doll they made:
