Toy laundry room
« on: Wednesday 01 December 2010, 02:29 am »
I had a toy laundry room as a kid and am going crazy trying to find out what it was. I'm even dreaming about it.   Anyway, it was plastic and for a dollhouse.  Something Barbie could use, but I don't think it was an offical Barbie product.   It was a sky blue or pale teal color and it was all once peice.  You could open up the washer and put things in there. There was a wheel you could spin and pretend your clothes were drying.  There was even an attached iron board that could be pulled down and put back up.  I think there was a sculpted cat that was the same color as the set. There may have been a window as well but I am not 100% sure.  I think it was part of a set by Playskool. I had this bed that turns into a bathtub. I'm not sure but it might have been part of the same line.

Those toys are Flip 'n Fancy by by Playskool.

The laundry set is listed, but I can't find a photo of it.

Here is the bath set:

I'm not sure if the landuary room set I am trying to find was a flip&fancy because it did not turn into a kitchen. It was just a laundry room.  I do not remember it coming with a doll, but then I don't remember the bed/bathtub coming with a doll either.

Still haven't found out what this was. I don't think it was a Flip n Fancy becuase it did not turn into a kitchen.

The early 90's.   Maybe 93?

I've wondered if maybe this is the same set I had: http://ghostofthedoll.co.uk/Forum/index.php/topic,209.15.html
