ColorMagic Kitchen Set (Color Change Playset)
« on: Wednesday 16 March 2011, 10:24 pm »
This was a Christmas picture from the late 80s. :) I had totally forgotten this was a set! I remembered the pink dish but was starting to think it was just a pink soap dish I'd been given or something!

But now I remember! The food was hollow plastic and would change color! I remember the green bean one best!

I totally remember the stack of crinkle-cut fries now! I think the water would make them red like there was ketchup on them!

Can anyone tell what the dish set in the background is?

Found another one on eBay. :)

By Tyco (1988)

So, at the least there is a Kitchen Set and a Lunch Set.

I loved my set so much.

Makes me think of these toys I saw over Christmas:

Magic Reveal by Spin Masters.

Found a picture of the "Dinner Set."

Why is it by HG Toys (1987) and then in the Tyco catalog in 1988?
