Toy horse (non-MLP)
« on: Monday 21 March 2011, 06:23 am »
I bought this pony on a yard sale. Can anyone tell me who she is? The picture is not very good, so here's a description: The pony is a little taller than an adult G1. She's pearly pink, with dark blue hooves and lower part of the legs. The mane is yellow, white and pale blue; the tail is yellow with white streaks. She has dark blue star symbols on the DS flank, the foreheard and the NDS neck. She doesn't have any marks, neither on her hooves nor any other part of her. She's a real beauty, and I'd love to find out more about her. Thanks!

she is very pretty, but I'm sorry to say I can't find any information on her either. How does her plastic feel? Does she feel sturdy or cheap?
Always looking for my little ponies!

It's sturdy plastic, very inflexible - not like MLP or indeed any other plastic toy I own.

I can't tell you what brand of toy horse she is, but I can tell you what she's a fakie of -- a very rare My Little Pony called a Dream Beauty!

I have NEVER seen this particular fakie before, but it looks fairly authentic. In fact, I'd say it was real except for the fact that I can't find any Dream Beauties with that symbol. Also, it looks like she doesn't have molded hooves, but I could be mistaken.

Here is a page with info on the Dream Beauties. Perhaps I missed her. http://www.ponylandpress.com/dreambeauties/

Maybe it is a Fashion Star Filly fakie?

She's definitely not a Dream Beauty fakie. I've got several Dream Beauties, and she's very different from them. Oh, and she's not a real Dream Beauty either. The moulds are different, as is the plastic and the texture of her hair. Also, she's missing the trademark row of beads on her hairline.

As for FSF... not sure. Maybe, but FSF were never even sold in Germany (as far as I know), so wouldn't it be odd to have FSF fakies here?

i do not think it is a FSF fake at all they had hooves that were molded and it would be to small for a FSF fake
