Do you mean the name on the birth certificate - no one can tell you that if you've forgotten I'm afraid. Cabbage Patch dolls are all unique in their name and birthdate (I mean the combination of - obviously a great deal of them now will have had the same birthdate but they won't have the same name and the same birthdate).

Are we sure this is a real Cabbage Patch doll?  The face and hands don't look right to me.

From what I've seen there were literally hundreds of name combinations, do you still have a certificate or name tag for it anywhere? and i actually agree with zap, it doesn't look like a CPK to me. do you still have the doll? real CPKs have signitures on their bums, lol. but i'd be very surprised if it wasn't a fakie, i've never seen a headmould like that before.

I think you're right - it does look like a knock-off

I'm not entirely sure so it could be a knock off.... My parents then gave us a cabbage patch doll each, mine's name was Elizabeth and had red hair. She was real. She did have the signature on her bum. I remember that. And she had very long red hair.

I don't have a photo of her unfortunately. She had no teeth showing, green eyes, a dimple of the left cheek, light red hair in pony tails with lace ribbons.

Something like this one...

neeta look at the hands of the one in the photo of the red haired doll - they are sectioned whereas the ones of on your doll aren't. Also the mouth has a much larger smile and the eyes are wider spaced.

Thanks, your right, after looking at them both, it is obvious the first one pictured with me is another doll. The one with the red hair I remember also, does anyone know her at all...? I know there are many that are the same or similar but I am hoping to find one like her...

The CPK doll you've pictured above was made by Coleco and has the Head Mould #3, you can find out what year it was made depending on what colour the signature is (see the guide here http://www.angelfire.com/ca5/cabbagepatch/signaturecolorhttp://www.angelfire.com/ca5/cabbagepatch/signaturecolors.htmls.html)

hope this helps.

I Also Think They Made Custom Cabbage Patch Kids. I Remember On My Birthday My Aunt Special Ordered One For Me (I Was So Happy) He Had Curly Brown Hair And Came With A Blue/White/Lime Green Outfit.
