Junk Necklaces?
« on: Wednesday 28 July 2010, 11:35 am »
Does ANYONE have more info on these? I had one I LOVED as a child (wish I still had it-I'd still wear it!) and my cousin did too. the only thing I can find are pics and called Junk Necklaces. There were many charms and varieties. I want to know who made em and if there's more to them than just that name.

I remember these too and was trying to find a pics a while back. I would search under plastic charms. They are very neat. I've got a few small pieces only.

I think some people sell them on etsy. There's a section on there for vintage stuff.

Oh I get you now! What you want to do to find them on etsy (or ebay - they have a number of auctions too) is type in 80s plastic charms then on etsy you'd click on vintage (no doubt there are some listed in  handmade but you wouldn't want to be going through all those listings) and voila!
