Introduced by IRWIN in 1987. May have been competition for Strawberry Shortcake which are very similiar.
The Story of the Tea Pot Tots
In the days when the legendary Imperial Crown and Jewel, called Tea-Ara, were discovered, the High Tea Council decided to secretly move these magical objects to the uninhabited Oolong Island for safe keeping. The council selected a group of tots from their different nations and placed them on the island as the Crown and Jewel's protectors. It was believed that the goodneess found in children would help them to use these powerful objects for the common good of all.
Three guardians were chosen to live with the Tea Pot Tots: Colonel Kettleby, Lady Potunia and the beautiful Valerian. But Valerian, driven by her uncontrollable yearning for eternal beauty and power, stole the Crown. Before she could take the Jewel, Valerian was discovered by the Tea Pot Tots and chased off the island by Colonel Kettleby and Lady Potunia. The evil within her caused Valerian to change into an ugly old hag! In anger she cast a spell on Kettleby and Potunia. Now, as the Tea Bag Hag, she sailed away swearing to return one day for the jewel......and so begins the adventures of the Tea Pot Tots. With Tea Pot Tots the adventure never stops.

ORANGE PEKOE - Orange scented, orangey blond hair with blue eyes, white sailor style dress with orange trim & box & white lace, straw hat with orange satin headband and orange shoes.
