A trip into Rayleigh found me three large Lalaloopsy dolls, a plush Snoopy, a Mattel Cabbage Patch Kids, In The Night Garden, Littlest Pet Shop, Pogs, a few little figures and some splendid LP’s!
Lalaloopsy
I found (l-r) Pix E. Flutters, Scraps Stiched ‘N Sewn & Crumbs Sugar Cookie. They were all sat in a basket with the CPK doll, along with another Lalaloopsy doll which I already had. She looked quite lonely when I left the shop laden with her friends! I love these big-headed dolls, but they take up SO much room on the shelf.
Cabbage Patch Kids
Made by Mattel, she has a purple signature on her bottom, which dates her to 1995 (I believe). She was dressed in a Teddy Mountain ballet dress and hand knitted cardigan, which while very nice don’t really suit her.
Snoopy & In The Night Garden
I found my first 1980’s plush Snoopy! And also a large talking Makka Pakka from In The Night Garden.
Pogs & More
As well as Pogs, I found Laser Caps, Milkcap Makers, Slammer Jammers and several groups unbranded discs.
Littlest Pet Shop ~ “Digital Pets”
A virtual pet lizard from 2006.
Figures
I picked up four little figures.
LP’s
All in all an excellent selection of cheese, children, sound effects and the hottest dance club hits around.
I found three Children’s LPs.
These BBC sound effect LP’s look better than they sound!
I had (OK, still have) Deep Heat 6 & 7 from back in the day on double cassette.
