Hieronymus Gets Frizzy

A trip to Chelmsford last Friday turned up a few little trinkets (as well as a whole lot of rain)! I found a medium sized Frizzys, “The Ninth Gate“, an eighties edition Terry Pratchett book (The Colour of Magic) and a Hieronymus Bosch book from the fifties!

Toys

I found another Frizzys to add to my collection (of one)! This one is “Fang“, although he should really change his name to Fangless seeming as his one tooth has been pulled off.

Books

“The Colour of Magic” by Terry Pratchett

This book was first published in 1983, and this edition is from 1988.

And look what I found inside being used as a book mark. It’s only the Inescapable Brute!

Hieronymus Bosch – The Paintings Complete Edition

The Phaidon Press, 1959. It has a mixture of black and white, and colour prints of varying quality, but not bad for the price.

Marked “John Higgins. December 1959”, so was most likely a Christmas present when brand new.

Crazy stuff!

The Ninth Gate, starring Johnny Depp. Directed by Roman Polanski. It was on telly last week and I thought to myself “I must look out for a copy”. And there is was.
