Photographs taken of the ruins of old St Margaret’s Church in Hopton On Sea, Norfolk, dating back to the 14th and 15th century. The church was burnt down in 1865 and has stood abandoned ever since.
The weather wasn’t great yesterday, but I took a few photos of the boats down in Old Leigh anyway. I decided on black and white in the end as it made the sky look much more foreboding!
On the trail of ancestors, mum and I visited St Mary’s Church in Old Dilton (aka Dilton Marsh, near Wesbury in Wiltshire) where some of our ancestors lived in the 1700’s.
