My 6th Great Grandparents are possibly John MAYHEW<\/strong> and his first wife Elizabeth BETTLE\u00a0<\/strong>but more evidence is needed to confirm this.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, there is no conclusive evidence of the birthplace or date of my 5th great grandfather John MAYHEW (wife Kasey GREY) as there are no baptism records for a John Mayhew c.1760’s\/1770’s in Bromham, Bedfordshire where he may have been born. A DNA link tracing back to a possible sister called Mary MAYHEW “of Bromham” is a good start, but again, there is only circumstantial evidence that she was born in Bromham in 1771 and the daughter of John and Elizabeth.<\/p>\n
