This selection of newspaper adverts from Nov/Dec 1959 are from various local and national UK papers.
The sheets of newspaper were used as carpet underlay until 2013. I’ve scanned the smaller ads and photographed the large ones. Many of the sheets were torn when they were lifted from the floorboards, and they were all discoloured and fairly fragile. I’ve done my best to make them presentable, but in some cases there wasn’t much I could do.
