Fairy Tails :: Fuzzy Tummies
"Birds with happy endings!"
Fairy Tails were produced by Hasbro in 1986/87. They were a series of colourful plastic bird with long hair and symbols on their chests, similar in colour to My Little Pony. Each bird came with a perch which their feet could grip onto when they were no longer gripping onto your fingers! They also came with a comb and ribbons for their long multi coloured hair. There were a few playsets produced but I don't know of any other accessories.

Fuzzy Tummies
"This friendly flock of Fairy Tails have tummies covered with fuzzy, fluffy "fur" for fabulous fun! Each colourful bird has long, lovely hair to style. and comes with a perch, hair ribbon and comb. Their feet open so they can stand on a flat surface or close for perching."
Fuzzy Tummy had a furry tummies rather than symbols. Each bird came with a stand, comb and ribbons. The UK/Euro version of this series had much longer tummy fur compared to the US version and were also produced in completely different colours. Their only similarity was that they each had the same name as their matching US pose style.
