Photographs taken in the Botanical Gardens in the Royal Victoria Park, Bath. The first thirteen I took just as the sun was going down, and the last I took the following morning just as it started to rain.
It was time to cut down the sunflowers down today to collect the seeds for next year, but there are still a few lovely dahlia’s blooming holding onto that last bit of summer colour.
I took some photos in the Botanical Gardens, which is in the Royal Victoria Park, Bath. I also took a few photos of the Shakespeare monument in the Great Dell over the road and a couple of the gate statues on my way out of the park.
Iford Manor, situated between Bath and Bradford-On-Avon, has some wonderful grounds with an Italian-style garden. The manor was home to architect and designer Harold Peto from 1899-1933, who created the gardens.
I finally got around to taking some photos of a few of the plants in my new garden. The passion flower has gone bananas since it was taken out its pot and planted in the earth. I even found a fruit!
