Boo Hoo Hoo / Li'l Weepers

"I'm a li'l weeper, and really quite sad. But if you give me some love, I'll be very, very glad."

Boo Hoo Hoo / Li'l Weepers were produced by Emotions (a subsidiary of Mattel) in 1983. They were a very small series of plush 8 inch animals with teary eyes and holding handkerchiefs.

Plush

Boo Hoo Hoos all held little handkies with "Boo Hoo Hoo" printed on them. The puppy was also sold with a Christmas hat and handkie, as was the bear.

I've only found one bunny so far.

I've found two kinds of cardboard lable for this line. The most common is the smaller version, which in this case names the dog as "Boo Hoo Hoo - Dog".

The other label I found is much larger with a full colour image on the front and logo "Li'l Weepers". It named the dog as "Li'l Weepers Dog", but was exactly the same dog as the tag above had attached to it.

The tag read inside:

BOO HOO HOO
I'm a li'l weeper,
and really quite sad.
But if you give me some love,
I'll be very, very glad.

This bear was also produced by Emotions. It had different eyes, a plain handkie and "Tearful Teddy" written on it's cardboard label. I don't think it was part of the set above, but too similar to ignore.
