It was a bit of a miserable morning on Saturday, but brightened up by the wonderful scarlet poppies blooming at the top of the steps leading down to the train station.
Another bright morning in Leigh-On-Sea, and the tide was in for a change!
The stark February sunshine gave the trees in Leigh-On-Sea a creepy Tim Burton aura on Saturday.

I took my camera for a walk into Old Leigh back in October. It was so sunny I couldn’t see the screen on my camera to see what I taking most of the time! Luckily they came out well.
It was rather foggy in Old Leigh yesterday when we wondered out for a stroll, but took the camera anyway. I’m glad I did as I got a few interesting shots.
I was such a lovely day that I took my camera out to take a few snaps of Leigh On Sea as we strolled in.
There are two types of fishing net to be found in Old Leigh.
The weather wasn’t great yesterday, but I took a few photos of the boats down in Old Leigh anyway. I decided on black and white in the end as it made the sky look much more foreboding!
