Starlight Dance Badges [Order 4]

I’ve just completed my forth large custom badge order for Starlight Dance. The order included 200 badges made from one of the designs created for their third order back in April.

Starlight Dance Badges [Order 3]

I’ve just completed my third large custom badge order for Starlight Dance. The order included 140 badges made from 2 different designs. There were several others designs created for this order but not made this time.

Dolphin Earrings

A short while ago I was asked by a friend to make two pairs of dolphin earrings, and having several charms left over made some for my shop too.

Even More Memory Wire Bracelets

I really enjoy making bracelets using memory wire, so set to making a few more using various glass beads and stones.

Halloween Bracelet

I made this chunky orange and black beaded bracelet for myself.

Green Glass Bracelets

I made myself a chunky green glass bead bracelet, threaded onto elastic, and a more delicate green glass and antique brass bracelet for my sister-in-law-type in honour of the Aged P who loved green.

Egyptian Bracelet

I decided to make my friend Sharon an Egyptian themed bracelet for her 40th birthday this year. The tiny beads threaded on bars are authentic antique Egyptian stones.

“Class of ’83 Reunion” Badges & Magnets Project

Over the past few months I have had the pleasure of designing several custom retro badges for the lovely Linda and her chums to wear to their class of 1983 school reunion. I designed a magnet from their old school emblem to hand out on the night and a roll call book for pupils to sign into, as well as a few badges from old school photos. A fabulous project to take part in and a wonderful night had by all judging by the photos!

Resin Jewellery Experiments

So, a couple of weeks ago I decided I wanted to try something new, namely resin casting for jewellery making. I spent many hours viewing YouTube video tutorials, scouring Google images and reading reviews before taking the plunge and ordering some resin and moulds.

Metal Charm Earrings

On my last trip to visit the folks, I bought a selection of metal charms with the idea of turning them into earrings. Here are the finished items.

Silver Skull Pin Brooch

I fancied having a go at making a brooch using a large safety pin with hooks on to dangle things off. I chose silver skulls, wings and black lucite flowers.

Gothic Wing Earrings

I thought I would have a go at making a pair of hoop earrings using a piece of memory wire and various gothy looking beads and charms. I’m really pleased with the result and know just the person to give them to!

Bead & Safety-Pin Bracelet

For my friend Ali’s 40th birthday I made her a bead and safety-pin bracelet. It was quite fiddly to thread, but worth it as it makes quite a statement.

More Memory Wire Bracelets

I recently purchased a larger display stand for when I do craft fairs, all I have to do now is make enough items to fill it. So, yesterday I spent the day making memory wire bracelets.

Felt Spiral Brooch

I made this brooch as a birthday present for my mum by lightly felting space-dyed wool onto a felt disc backing. I then sewed a spiral of beads on top, which follows the line of the original wool.

Button & Flower Earrings

I’ve been a busy bee again today and made lots of new things! I had a go at making earrings from buttons, and am very pleased with the results. I also made some earrings using polymer clay flower beads, which are very cute.

Memory Wire Bracelets

I’ve just made three more memory wire bracelets, using a variety of beads and plastic tubing.

Skull and Eyeball Earrings & Bag Charms

A bit of skull related jewellery making before bedtime last night! I made some skull bag charms, and skull and eyeball earrings.

Beaded Bracelets

I thought I’d have a go at making some new beaded bracelets, some with chain backing and other the beads themselves creating the chain. I used a wide variety of sizes, styles and colours.

Kawaii Bag Charms

I’ve been super busy this week having made 30 new bag and key charms. The tips of my fingers are now sore and rough!

Small Pearly Earrings

I thought it would be nice to make some smaller earrings for a change, so came up with this selection. The bead sections measure about 1cm long and feature a selection of pearly beads, faceted glass crystal beads and rhinestone beads in various colours.

Faceted Teardrop Crystal Earrings

I love these faceted teardrop crystal beads, and have made one pair of earrings per colour to add to my shop.

New Beaded Earrings [Jan 2013]

I’ve just added several new pairs of newly made earrings to my shop, as well as updating a few of my older designs I wasn’t happy with.

Starlight Dance Badges [Order 2]

I’ve just completed my second large custom badge order for Starlight Dance, which was considerably larger than last time! The order included 300 badges made from 15 different designs.

Iridescent Marbled Earrings

These iridescent marbled beads are just wonderful. I have created four pairs of earrings with them.

Floral Bracelet

My mum asked me to make her friend a bracelet for Christmas using little polymer clay and lucite flowers beads. This is the result!

I doodle at work sometimes, and just came across these little drawings from last year (8cm square).

Salvation Army Fields [Nov 2012]

Something I’ve been planning on doing for ages (ok, years) is photographing the Salvation Army fields in Hadleigh as the seasons change. The fields overlook the Thames Estuary from Essex over to Kent, and there are some lovely scenes during the year. I finally got around to taken some photos a couple of weeks ago at about 4pm, just as the sun was setting.

Neon Bat & Spider Halloween Button Badges

These little bat and spider button badges are so cute, and I love the handmade neon paper I found to make them from. The badges have a layer of shimmery or sparkly paper underneath the neon paper, which peeps through to create a lovely effect.

Alice In Wonderland Badges

These badges were made from an old brown paper notebook with Alice In Wonderland illustrations in the corners. I have had the notebook for several years but never used it because it just didn’t seem right to spoil the pages, which is rather ironic considering what I have just done to it!
