We popped down to the Hadleigh Rare Breed Centre last bank holiday weekend as it was a lovely morning and thought we’d get there before it got too busy.

Hadleigh Rare Breed Centre [Aug 2017]
It was time for another visit to Hadleigh Rare Breed Centre this weekend so I could see all the birds, which were hidden indoors on our last visit in April. I went back twice to photograph the ducks, I just love them!
St Barnabas Church, Hadleigh [2009-2014] ~ The Bedroom Window Project
From 2009 to 2014 I photographed St Barnabas Church from my bedroom window. It became a bit of a project during the latter half of 2010, when I realised I had been photographing the church almost every week as the weather changed and I continued this through all of 2012. I must have had enough by 2013 as there aren’t many, and I took my last and only photos from 2014 in July, a few weeks before moving house. There was an absolutely fantastic sunset, and a prefect way to finish the project.

Slim pickings at Hadleigh Rare Breed Centre this weekend due to all the birds being kept indoors until next month, and most of the animals were asleep!

Foggy ~ Leigh On Sea, Essex
It was rather foggy in Old Leigh yesterday when we wondered out for a stroll, but took the camera anyway. I’m glad I did as I got a few interesting shots.

Salvation Army Fields [Nov 2012]
Something I’ve been planning on doing for ages (ok, years) is photographing the Salvation Army fields in Hadleigh as the seasons change. The fields overlook the Thames Estuary from Essex over to Kent, and there are some lovely scenes during the year. I finally got around to taken some photos a couple of weeks ago at about 4pm, just as the sun was setting.
