Petite Ponies were produced by Hasbro in 1989-91. They were various sets of small 1" ponies with moulded and brushable hair, and had a horseshoe dent in their base. There were seven different sets plus eight playsets with a total of 78 ponies produced altogether. They had symbols on one side and only the ponies who came with the playsets were given names.

Petite Pretty Pony Parade :: 1st Series
"A colourful collection of ten terrific ponies!"
There were ten Petite Pretty Pony Parade ponies produced, two pegasi and eight earth ponies (all sold together). None had names.
These are their symbols:
- Beachball
- Ballet Slippers
- Butterfly
- Crayon [pegasus]
- Duck
- Ice Cream Cone [pegasus]
- Sun
- Teapot
- Teddybear
- Umbrella
Two of the ponies had their symbols switched on the packaging image (butterfly and teapot).
