These felt discs were originally made to be pendants for necklaces, but I decided they worked better as brooches. They are made from felt floral and circular shapes with beads, sequins and decorative stitching and measure between 4-5cm each.
I’ve decided to take a stab at making earrings, and am most pleased with the results. Made from a selection of glass, metal and other beads, and measure between 4-5cm (including hooks).
I was never completely happy with my first attempt at making felt necklaces, so I decided to work on them some more. I attached the discs to flower shaped backgrounds and used ribbons to thread them onto the necklace cords. I also added a few wooden beads too. Much better!
I’ve just added four new styles of Christmas Cards to my shop!
I love these sparkly bat and spider badges I just made for Halloween! The backgrounds are a choice of pink, purple or silver glitter paper, or gold shimmery paper with black bat and spider confetti on top. The spiders also have a layer of black netting, which looks sort of like a web.
I found some fun “Happy Birthday” spirograph wrapping paper, which has made some super badges of various sizes. I also tried some with added glitter and sparkly circles, but don’t think these work as well.
I made these badges using the same paper I made for my Textured & Gilded Greeting Cards. I made larger 38mm badges with full circles, and small 25mm button badges with little circles layered over shimmery black paper and glitter.
I made a selection of cute little button badges for selling in packs of three from floral and glittery paper, shimmery and tinsel fabric, and also sparkly fabric layered with two different sized stars.
These badges are experiments with the tiny off-cuts from my floral makeup, gadget and phone cases.
This lovely abstract floral wrapping paper lends itself very nicely to a range of badge sizes, which are grouped into packs of three.
As soon as I saw this lovely floral owl wrapping paper and knew it would make good badges! The owls were perfect for 45mm badges, and the flowers for 25mm button badges. I have grouped them into little packs of three for sale.
I bought this lovely bright 1960’s inspired floral wrapping paper from down the road, which I layered with black netting to make these 38mm badges. My mum was rather taken with them!
I thought I’d try something a little different with badge making, and used brown paper with a floral stamp and a large black sequin. I also made some without the sequin and some with crumpled paper.
I found some great double-sided wrapping paper a while ago which lent itself perfectly to badge making. I’ve made some large 45mm badges from the front, layered with glitter and flower confetti, then trios of little button badges using both the front and back of the paper.
Another experiment in badge making! I made these using Angelina fibre, which I ironed into a flat sheet with punched hears, star or flower confetti and glitter sprinkled in it. The pink ones have the fibres layered over the top of shimmery paper, which peeps through. The dark ones have the fibre layered over shimmery black paper or dark hologram paper, with tiny star glitter, and hearts and star confetti.
I made these badges from a mixture of glittery card, netting, large black sequins, glitter, and star confetti. I also used a old Christmas card (the patterned bits). Each one is unique, and as the Christmas card was all used up I can’t make any more!
I had some lovely little squares of floral Chinese paper stashed away for several years, and when I bought my badge machine I realised it would be perfect for button badges. Every badge is unique due to the size of the paper, and has glittery gold detailing. They look nice in sets of three, but could also be worn individually.
This lovely bright, bold floral wrapping paper was designed by Linda Barker (of Changing Rooms, remember that?). It’s just one small piece and was a bit more expensive than I would usually go for, but has made some lovely badges. Some I have made just plain, whilst others I have added a layer of black netting with various sequins and glitter underneath.
These are some of the first badges I made with my machine, many of which sold at my last craft fair. I used various materials, such as punched shapes, glittery and holographic paper, sequins waste, netting and confetti. They were great fun to make!
Here’s the necklace I made my mum for Christmas. The pendant part is made from a metal washer wrapped in black netting, textured wool and beads. The cord part has wooden beads and felt beads.
My friend Ali asked me to make her some felt Christmas tree decorations, so I made myself some too! I’m most pleased with how they came out (and so was Ali).
I have just added a whole new batch of items to my shop made with the lovely floral fabrics I bought a short while ago. Furry pencil cases with googly eyes just added to my shop! They measure about 18cm x 13cm (under the fur)!
These cute little 7cm square cards are made from hearts punched from a selection of glittery, shiny and shimmery card, with floral sequins and bead detailing. They are ideal for gift tags or miniature greeting cards.
These A6 cards are made from layers of lace and tissue paper which was then painted with metallic paints, ink, glitter and PVA glue before adding beads, sequin and ribbon detailing. I stitched the outsides so everything stays together. Every card is unique, of which there are eight.
I thoroughly enjoyed designing and making these floral felt brooches. I used my Cuttlebug to cut out a large selection of shapes in various colours, then spent hours layering them up in different ways before coming to a final choice. They were then embellished with embroidery thread, sequins and seed beads.

I made these objects by dipping dolls heads, which had been moulded onto clay trunks, into latex. It was then pealed off and created something which looked like condoms.
