Pound Puppies ::
"Lovable, Huggable!"
Pound Puppies production was taken over by Jakks Pacific in 2001-2003 with a small a small run of 9" puppies which barked and wagged their tails when patted on the back. Although they advertised that they were going to be bringing back the larger 16" sized puppies. I don't believe they produced any more than the "Happy Waggin's Pups" line.

Happy Waggin' Pups

They were 9 inches longs and each breed was (I believe) produced in two colours. These puppies are the only set I have found produced by Jakks Pacific. An archived version of their website implied the line would be expanded in 2002, 2003 and 2004 but no extra information was added, so perhaps this was the only set produced by Jakks Pacific until mattel took over in 2004.
