My 6th Great Grandparents are possibly John MAYHEW and his first wife Elizabeth BETTLE but more evidence is needed to confirm this.
Currently, there is no conclusive evidence of the birthplace or date of my 5th great grandfather John MAYHEW (wife Kasey GREY) as there are no baptism records for a John Mayhew c.1760’s/1770’s in Bromham, Bedfordshire where he may have been born. A DNA link tracing back to a possible sister called Mary MAYHEW “of Bromham” is a good start, but again, there is only circumstantial evidence that she was born in Bromham in 1771 and the daughter of John and Elizabeth.
